100 Tea Bags

This is 100% organic green and black teas, plus bergamot, for a full-bodied, Earl Grey type of tea. This custom blend was made specifically for Marla (our FlyLady) and Leanne (our Dinner Diva), and it hits all the high points:

Green Tea: This type of tea is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that help improve brain function, and that help with weight loss goals. Regularly drinking green tea can also help to reduce your risk of several diseases, including diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Black Tea with Bergamot (black tea flavored with oil from the bergamot orange; this is what gives Earl Grey type tea its unique taste): This flavorful and powerful type of tea helps with digestion and digestion-related problems (such as occasional constipation, acid reflux and intestinal infections), and it is also loaded with antioxidants, as well.

When you consider that the flavonoids in tea (called "catechins") boost metabolism and help your body break down fat more quickly, it's such a simple thing to add to your daily routine!

"Tea Time" is a beloved ritual in many countries and a great time for our FlyBabies to sit for a few minutes and have tea with FlyLady most afternoons. Leanne also joins in the conversation via the posts during the Facebook Live shows. Both FlyLady and Leanne feel "Tea Time" is a wonderful way to work on your own "Body Clutter," which happens to be the name of the book that they co-authored.

A recent Harvard Medical School study showed that drinking green tea and/or black tea may also improve vascular reactivity (a measure of how well your blood vessels respond to any kind of stress; think "lowered blood pressure"), and it showed that these teas may lower harmful LDL cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol) levels.

Other studies have shown that drinking 2 to 3 cups of tea per day can actually reduce the risk of developing colon cancer by 44%.

FUN FACT: Tea is the second most popular beverage in the world, right after plain water!
